Training and Consultancy

Status are an experience supported employment provider and have worked with multiple partners to both set up new initiatives; conduct industry-based research and have a selection of training that can complement existing and new services.

We are proactive members of both BASE and the European Union of Supported employment. See our project section to find out about some of the programmes we have and or are currently supporting.

We are able to offer bespoke supported employment training and reflective practice sessions tailored to the needs or your service and client groups.

Meet our team

We are experienced practitioners who have delivered high fidelity services, and both designed and delivered training on a national scale.

Robert Elston
(Chief Executive)
Status Employment Chief Executive Robert Elston, who has 40 years’ experience of Supported Employment for people with disabilities, specialist knowledge of mental health services, and has operated at overall manager level within three different delivery organisations. He was involved in the forefront of supported employment in Britain working for Blakes Wharf Employment Services one of the first employment agencies. He has also set up successful supported employment agencies with Mencap and Southdown Housing Associations.  Robert Elston is a Non-Executive Director of Inclusive Trading (Trading arm of BASE). He is Board member of the Association of Supported Employment Europe (ASEE) and is also working with the board ASEE as a subject matter expert.
Warren trunchion
(Services & Operations Manager)
Has over 15 years’ experience within supported employment delivery high fidelity services with exemplary fidelity ratings and winning national positive practices awards. Warren is a trainer with the centre for mental health IPS courses and has contributed to the creation of the national IPS KPI Framework and competencies framework. He helped designed the original IPS e-learning courses and team leaser training delivered by IPS grow. As an IPS lead he has supported 50+ services to deliver high fidelity and facilitated national communications of practice, action learning sets and webinars. As an experienced fidelity review has supported services through the fidelity assurance process and to implemented fidelity action plans. Warren has experience of both IPS and SEQF models of fidelity.
Most recently Warren has completed a year long secondment after ben approached to join the DWP Connect to work Implementation team. during this time his knowledge and experience was utilised by both the DWP and Accountable Bodies/providers to implement high fidelity services.
Status is able to design a range of training and consultancy packages to increase fidelity adherence and Performance. Ad to this our unique understanding of Connect to Work Grant Guidance and policy intent and delivery experience.
