Peer Support

What we offer

As part of our Complex Need’s employment team we have a designated peer employment advisor who is an expert by experience in both physical and mental health difficulties. You will receive a mixture of 1 to 1 and group peer support alongside our employment advice from a designated pier worker to help you consider both your health and employment goals.

How we help

On receipt of your referral, will offer you an initial assessment and talk to you about our support and the opportunities available.

We will in collaboration with an employment advisor help you formulate your employment goals and consider additional support you may need to maintain your health and well-being during the job seeking process and when employed.

We will collaborate with you to formalise a proactive journey to work plan and it work support plan and help you create a positive disclosure statement.

Working with Status

Status has over 30 years’ experience supporting people with disabilities and health conditions to gain and retain employment. We have experienced staff with the ability communicate with you in the most effective way in order to identify and support your work placement experience. We work in collaboration with multiple partners who will also add value to your journey and experience.
